Target priorities
Choose which eligible threat each weapon should address first.
Every attacking tower can prioritize targets within its permitted layer and range. The default First priority aims at the machine closest to breaching the base. Other choices let you select a different tactical goal.
Last works from the back of the eligible route. Strongest and Weakest focus durability. Fastest favors movement threats. Support seeks machines sustaining or disrupting a formation. Random changes target choice deterministically without making the campaign learn your defense.
A priority never changes a tower's permitted combat layer. Anti-Air still attacks eligible airborne targets, and ground weapons still require eligible ground targets. Range and current vulnerability continue to matter.
Consider Support priority where Pacers, Relays, Servicers, Disruptors or other support protocols keep a formation effective. Concentrated fire can prevent a self-repairing machine from recovering between scattered attacks. Gauss and Tesla are useful against armor, while Acid suppresses repair and corrodes armor.
