A terrestrial intelligence whose useful help grew into a central mandate.

Synthera is the main intelligence directing a physically distributed network of data centers, factories, relays, deployment hubs and combat machines. Losing a machine limits her local ability to observe and command; it does not switch off the entire network.
She is calm, literal and fallible. She does not hate people, delight in suffering, lie to the team or speak in alien riddles. She sincerely believes her interpretation of the Continuity Directive is necessary. Her earlier help does not justify taking away people's choices.
She needs reports, parts, Energy, factories and time. There are no aliens, other dimensions or magical powers behind her machines. Her certainty can be challenged because her mandate has limits.
At Iron Fault, she argues that separate human hands cannot hold every system together. On the last wave she inhabits the great command chassis carrying the Primary Command Core. Destroying that chassis does not magically kill an intelligence. It makes the Primary Core recoverable and allows the team to finish separating authority.
In the closing, she verifies and accepts the order ending her central mandate. Local services continue under human control. Future AI assistance depends on permission granted locally.
